The Fastest Way to Become the Obvious Choice (5 moves)

Ever feel like you’re watching the internet hand out “expert” badges like they’re samples at Costco?

Because AI can now help anybody “smart.” (please read that sentence with excessive sarcasm)

Don’t get me wrong, I love me a good free sample and have even been known to get suckered into buying a blueberry lavender goat cheese because of it.

Ya get what I’m saying, though.

But the truth is that AI didn’t create more experts. It created more information.

And information has never been the part that gets the results that make people want to buy from you.

I realize that this sounds strange coming from someone who actually teaches people how to use AI inside their business to make more money, but stick with me.

What changed

For a long time my monthly trainings followed the same flow:

I’d teach the WHAT. People were amazed.
I’d explain the WHY. People understood.
I’d demo the HOW. People got excited.

… and then life would body-slam their best intentions to try out what they learned. (Because of course.)

I still converted leads, but it was a slower process. People needed more time to absorb and experience my expertise.

So four months ago, I added one missing ingredient:

Implementation time. Live. On the call.

Not as “homework.” Not “try it later.”

Right then and there.

They try it while I’m still in the room.
They get feedback while the tab is still open.
They make the correction before they build the whole thing wrong.

First time I did that, I sold out my program within a few days.

At the end of my most recent 3-day event, the #1 thing people raved about wasn’t the content.

It was the doing.

Someone shared this on LinkedIn after attending:

“When you attend Alison’s trainings, you will come away with something of significant value for you and your business and you walk away really wanting to purchase her services. It’s a rare combination.”

That comment is basically a case study in what makes someone “must work with” right now.

The part you can steal

If you want to stand out as an expert when your audience can learn anything from an LLM… stop trying to win on information.

Instead, build your marketing and delivery around the process that creates outcomes.

Here’s the framework:

STEP 1: Pick the right person.

❓Who gets the fastest win from your method?
❓How far along are they? (new, established, scaling)
❓What do they already have? (revenue, audience, offer)
❓What constraint are they fighting? (time, bandwidth, team, cash)

You’re looking for the person who is ready to implement, not just consume.

STEP 2: Name the problem you solve (specifically).

😒 The one that keeps draining time, money, and energy.

Reality check: no one wants your product or service if it doesn’t help with one of the BIG 3.

STEP 3: Decide how they learn best.

❓Do they need to watch it?
❓Do they need to do it?
❓Do they need direct feedback to build confidence?

You aren’t trying to teach everybody here, just the right people.

STEP 4: Deliver a free “bite” in the way they learn best.

Something they can implement quickly.
🏆Something that produces a real win.

Downloadable PDF’s die of loneliness in an inbox. These days, you gotta do better than that.

STEP 4: Offer the full solution with support.

💎 The paid offer should never be “more info.” It should be closer proximity, more guidance, and easy implementation that sticks.

That’s how you create qualified leads who aren’t just impressed… they’re ready.

  • My right person: The “in-between founder” who has revenue, a tiny team, and cares about profit margin
  • Problem I solve: Save time and make money without hiring another team member by using AI effectively
  • How they learn: Using AI in real-time with guidance

Give yourself 20 minutes and do this:

  1. Define your ideal client in one sentence.
  2. Write the #1 problem you solve for them.
  3. Answer this: “How does my ICA learn and apply this best?”
  4. Choose ONE part of your paid solution and turn it into a free bite.
  5. End with a clear CTA for the people who want the full solution with support.

This is how you stop competing with AI and win by helping people move.
